ALERT: INFLUENZA & INFLUENZA-LIKE ILLNESS

Updates on what we or others are doing on the subject of influenza and influenza-like illness.


ALERT: PUBLIC HEALTH APPROACHES AND METHODS

At NCCID, our focus extends beyond individual diseases to look at
more global methods of understanding and approaching public health.

This Alert will share updates on what we or others are doing in the following areas:

  • burden of illness (including measurement, drivers and outcomes);
  • determinants of infectious disease (upstream causes and drivers);
  • interventions (what the latest evidence says about specific policies/practices);
  • infectious and chronic diseases (co-morbidities and interactions),
  • mathematical modelling and public health;
  • relative importance (evidence for setting public health priorities).
